August 8th: Wedding

Jennifer and Travis had their special day at The Marriott Ranch in scenic Hume, VA. This is out of my normal service area, but I did Jennifer's sister's wedding in Oct of 2008 and decided to help their family out. Jennifer and Travis danced to the Mariah Carey/Luther Vandross version of "Endless Love". Jennifer and her dad danced to Bette Midler's "Wind Beneath My Wings" while Travis and his mom chose The Carpenter's "Close To You". The evening was filled with country, motown, and r & b/hip-hop. Dirty Dancing's "I've Had The Time Of My Life " concluded the evening. The festivities were photographed by Katie Stoops.

August 1st: Wedding
I finally caught a break in travel and did my 1st local wedding in 2009. Alison and Adam celebrated their special day at the Country Club Of York in York, PA. The bride and groom chose Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat's duet "Lucky" as their 1st dance. Bob Carlisle's "Butterfly Kisses" returned as Alison danced with dad and Adam danced with his mom to Kenny Rogers' "Through The Years". A mixture of oldies, retro, 80s hits, and current top 40 danced provided a packed dancefloor throughout the night. A hora was even tossed in as our bride groom were hoisted into the air while seated in their chairs. Donna Summer's "Last Dance" concluded the evening's activities.
