News: Greyhound event dates set for 2007

I'm please to announce that Greyhound Pets of America - MD Chapter will be having their annual greyhound reunion on Sunday, June 3rd. This will be my third year performing at this event. Greyhound Rescue Inc will be having their annual picnic on Sunday, September 9th. This event will be held at Carderock Park in Carderock, MD (Montgomery County). Once again, DJ Greyhound is proud to make a cash donation to these organizations to assist in their mission of educating the public about greyhound adoption.

February 3rd: Private Event

Historic Christ Church of Alexandria, VA had their annual Mardi-Gras themed dinner/dance on February 3rd. This was a return engagement for me - I also did their event back in February of 2005. A fun time was had by all as the audience enjoyed tracks from Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, and Dean Martin during their dinner hour. After dinner, the Church had their silent auction. Swing, motown, and even some retro-disco tracks filled out the remainder of the evening.

Since I do so many weddings, private events are a rarity for me. Most of the clients who book me for private events are either return clients or they were referred by by previous clients. My customer loyalty program allows previous clients to get discounts on private events.
