July 3rd: Wedding
Congrats to Annie and Sam as they celebrated their wedding at the DAR Building in Washington, DC. In addition to Sinatra and Billie Holliday filling out the cocktail/dinner period, a violinist played background music as well. Annie and Sam danced to Iron & Wine's "Such Great Heights" for their 1st dance. Annie's parents tangoed to Tony Martin's "I Get Ideas" while Sam's parents danced to Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World" and danced to a special African line dance afterwards. As an added highlight, the groom's band played a couple sets of classic rock favorites and dance music was played to fill in the gaps. The Spaniels' "Goodnight Sweetheart" concluded the evening.

June 27th: Wedding
For the 2nd straight weekend, I performed at the Sheraton National in Arlington, VA. Michelle and Steven, our bride and groom danced to Queen's "You're My Best Friend". Michelle and her dad danced to Chris DeBurgh's "Lady And Red" while Steven and his mom chose Louis Armstong's "What A Wonderful World". We had a special anniversary dance for all the married couples while "I've Had The Time Of My Life" from Dirty Dancing finished out the evening.
